Dear Alex, I have been up all night and just read your most recent newsletter. I am cutting and pasting something that was on listserv I receive. This came from the National Association of Professional Geriatric Care Managers Listserv:
Monday January 19, 2009 has been designated as a "National Day of Service". People are encouraged to "get involved" by performing community service. This effort is coordinated by the Presidential Inaugural Committee (in preparation for the January 20 Presidential Inauguration). A web-site will be launched in early January listing opportunities for citizens to provide service in their communities.

Alex, thanks for thinking about this and writing about it to everybody! For me you're great…so go on next year for our continued pleasure! I hope what you wish comes true!!!! I think all of us will have a small part in our own hands in order to accomplish it.
